Biography
The Doors were an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. Consisting of Jim Morrison (vocals), Ray Manzarek (keyboards), Robby Krieger (guitar), and John Densmore (drums), they were one of the most controversial and influential rock bands of the 1960s and early 1970s. Known for Morrison's poetic lyrics and charismatic stage presence, their psychedelic and blues-influenced sound helped define the counterculture era.
> Despite disbanding after Morrison's death in 1971, their music continues to inspire new generations.
